Lorenzen Wright’s Body Found In Southeast Memphis (Video)

The uncle of former NBA player Lorenzen Wright says police told the family the athlete who had been missing for 10 days has been found dead.

A body was found Wednesday afternoon in a wooded area near the intersection of Hacks Cross and Winchester in Memphis, authorities said.

Curtis Wright told The Associated Press that police called the player’s father, Herb Wright, Wednesday afternoon, to say the body was that of Lorenzen. However, an MPD spokesperson would only confirm that police were investigating the death of a male.
